Local Maryland Support Groups

Come on Board !

The Southern Maryland Asperger Parents Association has members in Calvert, St. Mary's and Charles County.  There is also a small Charles County group.  This group has occasional social get-togethers and special meetings, but no regular meetings.   They also collaborate with the Calvert County Learning Disabilities Association with whom they have shared speakers.  They provide information and assistance; mostly online or by phone.   Current contact people are Donna Coldsmith     ddmikey@aol.com   and Careen Wallace   cwall3412@aol.com or (301) 855-8333.

The Baltimore support group is officially know as the Maryland Asperger Advocacy and Support Group (MAASG).  They have members in Baltimore, Harford, Howard, and Carroll Counties; as well as, Baltimore City.   This group maintains a mailing list for newsletters and conference notifications and maintains this Web Site for the benefit of all Maryland families.  MAASG meets on the third Tuesday of each month.  Click here for details.

The Montgomery County Support Group meets the first Monday of each month from
7:30-9:00 p.m. at Potomac Ridge Hospital located at 14901 Broschart Road in Rockville,
Maryland (Behind Shady Grove Hospital).   If someone needs directions they
